Government ag subsidies are Iowa's main business

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on Saturday expressed concerns about "rumors" regarding discussions between Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the White House on tax policy, worrying that a potential agreement could be harmful to farmers.
"Rumors going around abt negotiations going on between Pelosi Mnuchin and White House on tax policy that detrimental to farmers that this Chr of Finance has not had input The President loves farmers and I remind Mnuchin of that," Grassley said in a Tweet directed to President Trump.
What do we do about a state, population .3 million that survives by ag subsidies?  Here is a cse of what would the state capital of Iowa do if they had the cash instead? I dunno, this one is a tough one because if we want a pro in ag, then Grassley is it. We will never get the truth out of the guy, but  little cash to the state capital might cause some reconsideration.
