I never got the 'sleeping in his car' thing

While Johnson publicly said and privately told Lightfoot that he had “a couple of drinks” with dinner, both the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times reported he spent hours drinking with an unnamed woman. The Sun-Times said she was a female member of his security detail.

It is lost to history, but I guess he was to drive blazenly drunk, the alternative. Lightfoot must have been jealous? Is there something missing? Half my friends are hookers, being Redneck and all.


My view. He is police chief, mainly administrative, he does not go on patrol. Coming up the ranks, half his acquaintances are a bit crooked, expected. So, if he happens to be  sleep, in his patrol car, wake him and leave it at that. Still, something is missing.
