Biden leaves door open to adding Supreme Court justices

Making a permanent sect of arbiters to enforce fiat law.
This is California plain and simple, the effect of the California delegation on the Biden plan.  The California effect is the major uncertainty for Biden in the campaign. On the margin we might be surprised  if Repubs do well in senate races even if they give up the presidency.  The Californians instill the existential fear in small state voters. This was the issue from the beginning of the affirmative action primary, and the price Biden pays for being yet another dirty old man.

The result, jam both the courts and the senate. The senate becomes an ear mark nightmare if you have the same party in both chambers looking for offsets.  Nancy's stimulus was just that, mostly an infinite list of ear marks. Maybe even worse are the thousands of starving lawyers waiting to get cases jammed into the federal court system.  Roberts will never be able to manage it. And with the Fed stuck and rebellion growing? Now is not the time to go Californian.

Under Newsom, out here, we are taking the path of waiting our next chance in the Swamp. Get by and plan for the next stimulus opportunity. That means only one thing, boat anchor for the rest of the states. No matter what happens on taxes or spending or restructuring there will always be the last minute wait for California and we get the loop, te repeated up and down of the boat anchor.
