The Assange Extradition Case Is An Unprecedented Attack On Press Freedom, So Why's MSM Largely Ignoring It?
I don't get this either. This should be a severe warning about repeating Nixon and the Pentagon Papers. The attack on Assange is mostly an attack in internet press, but it is press nonetheless. This was litigated already. Here is a case where the Supremes could submit a brief, mentioning that the Pentagon Papers result is Law of the land. If free speech and open journalism mean anything, Assange should be free. He did not violate any national contract. He did post a bunch of tricks the CIA hackers used, but that is hardly an eminent threat. It is the same case, the traditional media is letting it slide for selfish reasons.
