Last minute changes to voting systems

Federal judge blocks a Texas order limiting ballot drop-off locations

I have noticed, over the years, that federal judges disfavor changes in voting rules just before an election. I seems like good election law, a fair resolution. Repubs are fairly dumb about planning ahead and get caught every time.
