The problem with Covid-19 and immunity?
The human immune system cannot adjust T cell and B cell topgether for acquired immunity. The corona cam from animals with amuch higher amtabolic rates, and the coron acquired a wo step attachment process to survive.
Humans B cells canno keep up, an only get as far as innate immunity, T cells, which eventually kill it. Bu we never get total acquired immunity.
This is the three color problem in which the system bandwidth is too limited. Or as our proof masters would say, this is one of the ones that will engage in a repeat and never eliminate the game of Chinese remainder.
So, Rand Paul is wrong, he spent to much time in politics and has not tracked the research well. Rand Paul is not the safest person in the Senate.
The 1974 article on imunology posited the system was a Markov new, essentially. That was correct, and the pape moved the ball on closed self sampling systems. But the docs had no ability to intervene in the adaption process except at the end points. This has to change, docs will need to be timing the B cell concentration and finding the right 'hedge' to put it in financial terms. They need to introduce the vaccine antigen at the proper moment during adaption, a very trick business which they have never done.
Another possibility is to let acquired immunity take hold but train the system with the proper mix of antibodies, something the docs know a little about.
