Dump your mandate. Biden and team are facing howls from the big city pension politicians. Few of the local tax increases passed, the big city mayors and their governors and senators already on the phone. This issue will dominate and of Biden and his philosophers.
Chicago will fail to make payments otherwise and Biden loses a chunk of Dem territory to the bankruptcy judges. Nor can Biden afford mass public sector layoffs in California and NYC. Stimulus won't get the problem, debt or tax transfer from large cities to the Swamp is what they want. Nancy cannot afford the earmark expense to get a bailout through the senate.
