Dems are all along the coast in heavily populated cities with a few exceptions. Big city mayors are in charge. Big city mayors are also leading the public sector bailout demands. Big city mayors also have the political bucks from the public sector unions.  But the Swamp is not governed by big city mayors. The House/Senate is governed by Nancy's thousand page list of earmarks, the political unit of account. Big city mayors are completely lost on how earmark governance works. The mayor of LA, for example, budgeting for a bailout that is not happening, and now has to make a sudden u turn on the budget.

The problem is the Godot hallucination, widespread and pushed by our horrid public schools. We do not get philosophy, we get sudden stops and reversals. Kamala is not going to help Biden walk through the jungle, and Biden is a bit too demented to get what is really happening. I would suggest Biden advisers send Kamala on a four year good will tour of Mongolia. They do not want her running around the Swamp.

Democrats are pinning their hopes on being able to force a 50-50 Senate on a narrow, uphill path that requires them to win both seats in the typically red state. If Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins the White House, a 50-50 margin would hand them the majority because Vice President Kamala Harris could break a tie.

No, using Kamala for a  senate vote is a horror show, small state senators of both parties do not want a Californian authoritarian deciding Senate issues.  Keep Kamala outside the country on permanent good will tour.
