The Swamp pays about two percent for money

The chart f fro Menzie abnd he does no comment.  I will.  We should pay about one percent above inflation for government money, that is my estimate of the unresolvable costs of unbalanced government.

The extra one percent in costs happen because idiot politicians use the earmark as a unit of account in government.  Using earmarks to count is like having three fingers instead of five it costs us an extra percent in interest charges because it is hard to make change with earmarks.

Anyway, we pay two percent for government money. The cost of inflation to government are the difficult transaction costs of handling all the inflation adjustment contracts. Year in, year out, haggling about contracts because politicians are dumb shits.  Get smarter politicians.
