Counting mass layoffs

Walmart is closing 63 Sam's Club stores across the US, the company told Business Insider on Thursday afternoon, after reports of abrupt store closings began to emerge.Sam's Club has not said how many employees are losing their jobs. Each Sam's Club warehouse employs about 175 people, meaning more than 11,000 people could be impacted.
Labor is being sorted, thus we would expect a limit swing in unemployment, characterized by mass  layoffs.  Firms are increasing some wages and laying off other workers.  California is doing the last gasp effort to reform union contracts.  This is all the resorting process, a two level requantiation of the labor market.

California will foul the process up badly and we will see these huge swings in unemployment from the state, driving the economy.
