The idea that an earth born artificial intelligence would give up humans is absurd. We are the perfect intelligence for earth, the singularity wants us to build bigger collectors. The singularity fires all the robots, don't need them, humans much better. Humans manufacture stuff with their opposing thumbs and have the ability for repeated trials in practice.  We are cheap, we eat dirt.
