Drone wars

Drones attacked oil and gas facilities at the Shaybah field in southeast Saudi Arabia but failed to disrupt production, the kingdom’s Oil Minister Khalid Al-Falih said.
Saudi Arabian Oil Co., or Aramco as the company is known, extinguished a small fire at a natural gas liquids plant at Shaybah on Saturday morning, it said in a statement. There were no casualties and oil operations were not interrupted by the incident.
Compare costs. An electric drone needs an upgrade to glow plug to make the distance. That is an extra 150 dollars to the foam drone.  My total cost, under two grand.   The disturbance caused is about twenty grand.

The US Air Force will see at least tens of these causing horrid nuisance in their F22 base. I is a losing asymmetric war, the technical requirements to keep those F22s running way to much to suffer the constant nuisance. We see some of this with the tanker wars already.

What is Israel dropping from those F35s?  That plane has bomber bay doors, they could be dropping foam, autonomous planes.  Slow the F35, drop ten of these, fly off. Total cost much less than guided missile, and more accurate.
