Newsom will, no doubt, take the flat earth approach and concentrate wealth into an ever smaller group. He won't get this problem as he has been trained by flat earthers for his entire career.

But his main point is correct, California is not re-opening until the public sector agrees to a long term pension deal. I have no idea how we are going to get a crowd of idiots in the Swamp to sort this out.  Seems like an impossible task for them. And most of them are deluded by the flat earthers.
