Menzie and the state indicators
We have the means matching just prior to Covid.
But variance and skew will be wildly mismatched as we see in the response after covid.
We are not handling the number N in each state, they are of various sizes. The ability of states to stay consistent is impossible until the House and Senate leaders figure this out. But both groups are advised by the flat earthers, they assume each state can scale appropriately.
So we had all these boneheads claiming California was doing just fine, ignoring the skew in unemployment rate of California relative to the typical. That skew is quite obvious, but flat earthers cannot understand a simply reality.
It is impossible to explain this stuff from the viewpoint of a mathematician. Mathematicians cannot comprehend why any one in science would consistently be in error about this, like Krugman and Moore; both guilty of flat earthing.
