If your neighbor were unbalanced, armed to the teeth and busy posting social-media messages about how much he hates you, you'd certainly support measures to disarm him. But you'd feel more secure if he didn't hate you in the first place.

Cops cannot provide regulated militia if a bunch of castrated NRA members are hiding AR15s.  The fact that Reason magazine cannot read the amendment just makes me suspect them all the more.

If you have one of those sexual deviants from Reason magazine having sex with steel dildos, then you are denied a regulated militia.   That is the problem, AR15s and assault rifles are in wide use as sexual toys for the castratti.
