Counties are the most corrupt local government form

Virginia county's entire board of supervisors indicted

State police announced Tuesday that all of the top government officials in a Virginia county have been indicted in connection with an investigation of financial crimes, according to the Washington Post.
Fourteen people were charged as part of the probe into alleged money laundering and embezzlement inside the local economic development authority, including all five members of the Warren County Board of Supervisors, according to the Post.
Texas, California have this problem in spades.  The county government was always the spot where graft and corruption seem easy. We should eliminate the county, let the state government manage affairs at the level.

Our county government ripped us off for a sudden one billion dollar pension increase, almost got thrown in jail by Gray Davis, as a matter of fact. If Gray Davis saw a pension crime then is must have been bad indeed.
