How about we do the one thing that can fix out government.
Get those nine or ten middle state governors to agree, No More Bernies, Trumps, Cotton's, Kamalas, and the rest.
Elections should be about keeping those middle states liquid in the government channel, and the rest of the fixes needed will straighten themselves out. Those governors need to swear , Never let a Godotist get nominated.
The rest of the fixes fall out naturally as use structural models, and no, they are not painful.
