What if the QE tax drives us into alternative money tech?

That is not a problem, we can do QE in the sandbox just as easily.  Sandbox is neutral.

But it is a regressive tax, a flat fee on the use of money. But in the sandbox, it comes with opportunities to bank with the Fed, one way or the other.  So we have the same choices, pay the QE tax or not, the same way we choose to accept a sales tax, we can exit the transaction. A tax is a tax, the bond tax reduces the amount of discretionary lending the Swamp can do.
