We do it when we need it, it is orthodox

Ray Dalio says adoption of unorthodox monetary policy is ‘inevitable’

The delusion of infinity. Our monetary policy changes a bit, but we get by.  The Trump Shock will be a temporary moment with a 15 year response. Typical crap we do, just more efficiently, we will do it at 15 yer intervals, or there abouts.

Congressional schemes cannot be priced with 'right to coin' hanging over its head. Bankers need bite the bullet and get a long term contract.
