A union contract is binding in California

LAUSD’s Measure EE battle was a small fry compared to what’s coming in 2020 
Without the local parcel tax, LAUSD isn't going bankrupt. But the coming property tax battle, which stirs up the Proposition 13 debate, will make the last one look like a walk in the park.
The strike ended when our elected officials in LA agreed to support a Prop 13 battle.  It is mandated now by the state guarantee, it doesn't matter who you elect, down there, your vote is the same: Campaign for prop 13 revision.

Unfortunately, I think the effort is doomed. It is a year off, likely in the middle of a downturn, partially the cause of a down turn.
