Employment per population

It is almost 60%.  It used to be 63%.  I do not think it will be going back up, and the work force is supporting 2% more people than before.

That is a hit to wages, and it is likely to get worse. Labor is squeezed everywhere, but mostly by government.

A lot of the new layoffs are voluntary retirement, and do not show up in working age population.
