Immigrant twin brothers who picked grapes in California graduate from top medical schools together
We kids took these job in the summer, including packing houses. Some of us became medical doctors. We were not immigrants. Half the kids in WW2 grew up farm kids, me too a bit. Lot of them became doctors and scientists. Just to be on the diverse side, let me mention that many of these non-immigrants were Hispanic, California bred and born.
