How do we get a fair stock index in which to invest? Run their prices through a restricted flow channel and collect quants which tell you how much to buy in a particular volatility range. I have a bot for that, by the way. For each subset of the complete set, of stocks, you get an 'items per basket', just like the Walmart manager. In the collective, none of the particular stocks should be overly congested, hence the hedge is to spot the stock that change their 'items per bask', level, they jump or drop in rank on the generator.
