Its not that complicated

ISO 20022 Message Definitions

Thew collection of Swift messages:  693 messages? Good grief.
They went wacko, sorry to say.

We need three  two messages.
  • Put or take bearer cash from or to the S/L account
  • Check Swift ledger.

Once we have bearer cash, or short chain cash, we will just use one of the common contract languages.  That is the whole point of bearer cash, mainly to eliminate 690 of those 693 messages.

Think a moment. These exchanges are no more complicated then a standard 'c' syntax. I know because most of the implementations are in 'c',  so why not just let us make 'c' like contracts on the fly for interpretation?

My view of mini-Swift was just those two messages above. Everything else can be done with permission signatures. Compare the ISO list with the equivalent Taproot for Btc. The former has 693 messages, the latterer is into the tens of messages. Yet they Btc works fine in complicated trading scripts.
