Covid mutations are finite

 There is a natural error correcting code in these mutations, almost by definition. Sections of the geodesic have multiple, but finite replacements proteins.  But eventually the sphere runs out of correcting code and collapses.

The new mutations are more infectious because they hold a surface layer of lipids better and can float longer, the aerosol effect. We will not see many second generation mutations. I am not scaredy poo, we still have the fair coin toss back on our covid bets.
