Free movement of people but not goods

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Kamala Harris said Sunday that she would not have voted for the North American Free Trade Agreement.
On CNN‘s “State of the Union,“ the California Democrat said the U.S. can negotiate better trade agreements to protect American workers.
How does she protect American workers from the Mexican workers she invites into the USA?  Her views seem contradictory.  She is unelectable, Biden trounces her everywhere, and Biden still gets  chunk of California electors.

Biden wins because every time the progressives take control there is another government shock coming, an Obama tax, or a sudden jump in gas prices, or housing volatility or some cattle rancher has gotten us into war.  Voters want a period of peace and quiet from government, I say we give them a 15 year peace and quiet contract. Harris is king maker:

Black Lawmakers Pitch Biden-Harris To Beat Trump
Yet there is no question that Biden — thanks in part to his close relationship with Obama — is popular with African-American voters, according to several polls since he entered the race. That support inside the black community translates into backing from black lawmakers as well.
She takes VP,  she gets an apprenticeship, she escapes the Calizuela, Cartel curse. And, Biden, in return,  pushes a great Federal teacher's deal. The ticket needs to get Florida, if Texas is off the table.
