Encryption is about money

My thumbprint here at home will anonymously send you a penny to read your article.

This is the problem, I am not hiding, cash is hiding.  Bearer digital cash is a necessary outcome of counterfeit proofing our personal hand held. The technology they fear is the ability of handhelds to execute contracts along measured paths.  It automates the third party, dis-intermediation.  Automating simple three step contracts is in the exponent, too huge a magnifier for the Overton window.

My solution has always been, one, leave money out of the debate or two, put a cash limit, even a small cash limit. The cash limit lets the security hounds track the big fish, unmanned airplanes. Low cost encryption all through the UAV industry is at hand.  So, put in a cash limit, then use the tech for some good.
