So one way to think of the Woke movement is not as a racial fight but a generational one. For Millenials, the moral issues are a way to get back at the Boomers.

Specifically, the Boomers defaulted in 1971, now the Millennials get the right of default. It is in the Constitution, the Law. No one is getting back at anyone, the new generation is executing a defined Constitutional right to coin. There was no philosophical revolution in the 70s, it was simply the latest generation doing the 'This time is different'. And now the Millennials get to execute the same.
