So the whole “progressivism is bad” argument just doesn’t have any compelling evidence that I’ve seen. When it comes to “Defund” & “Socialism” attacks, people need to realize these are racial resentment attacks. You’re not gonna make that go away. You can make it less effective.
The defund police movement is a union battle for scarce public sector funds; teacher vs cops. It is AOC's Black constituents who eventually demand more police. It is the white folk who pay for it that push defunding. Crime is not happening in white suburbs, it is happening in Black neighborhoods.
