Should we have cleared the underbrush?

 

See the underbrush burn. This is the theory for why California forests burn. I am not a forestry expert, but the anti-Californians are claiming that this problem should have been solved last year by clearing out the under brush. 

 I can see the point. Most of last year, like many previous years before, were spent on public sector pensions,. That is the only government issue the legislature and courts deal with. For the same reason, we do not have fire fighters, fire fighters become yet another public pension issue.
