The writer puts everything into the progressive liberal format and forgets completely the state scale problem. This writer is ignorant, while someone like Krugman knows the problem and chooses to yap at it. This is why the two party system fails us at the moment. It is like a piling on effect on the small states. Maybe a good moral idea, but Constitutionally the small states are required to vote no when their existence is at stake.
