Kavanaugh did well on gun control? Did I mis-judge?

The city, wary of facing an unfavorable SCOTUS decision, changed the regulation. Kavanaugh sided with the majority in a 5-3 vote that the case had been made moot, and didn't need to be heard.
Yes, to declare this issue moot was correct.  The alternative was a mass of lawsuits via an ambiguous law.  I admit I may be wrong about Kavanaugh. The Instapundit nut is almost always wrong on this issue and is a pesky country lawyer trying to re-instate the King lovers, the fake Tea Party welfare bums. Constitutional law is fairly simple. The second part of the Second is best declared moot as the written law is very ambiguous.  Instapundit nuts are not smarr, at all, and I have quite reading their crap a long time ago.

But part of that case stands, the gun owners need access to interstate commerce in order to create the regulated militia. It is an interstate commerce issue and you need more than Instapundit's 100 point IQ to understand.
