We can see the same effect beginning. California public sector exacerbates the Covid shutdown. It looks worse this time, and last time California almost went belly up.
Hence Nancy's desire to get a public sector bailout, even to the point of taxing the poor. Her party depends on well funded public sector pensions. Newsom doesn't know what to do and will follow Como's lead. Newsom is discovering that depending on Nancy's bailout plot isn't working and he has to reverse a whole set of decisions. Brown would not have fallen into that trap.

Everybody she named is public sector. Her point is that California is facing strikes unless we can find funding.
