OK, the Spanish text make a big deal when the subject an object of a verb are the same. So what? All the same rules apply, there is nothing unique about object pronouns when they are reflexive.
As near as I can tell, dump the concept. It seems a waste, why not just obey the rules of object pronouns and be done with it?
