Una adicta a cocaína en la casa

La anciana se enoja en la mañana despertarandose. Enojada en aparente confusión al perderse su dosis de cocaína. Ella esta pobre y lo que ella necesita hacer para obtener su medicamento es deprimente su mente. Ella está en la cocina , yo estoy callada. Se lava y sacude una sartén o dos con golpes fuertes. Algo, algún tipo de acción de su parte me hará producir al menos diez dólares.

One short paragraph to set the scene and I can introduce the conflict in a short few paragraphs.  Goggle did about half this from English, I did about half from Spanish. The Old woman and the narrator are the two main characters, we see that right away in the conflict for money. We know they are in the same house, the environment need not expand much further, except maybe to the corner store. 'despertarandose' is to much construction for this simple story, I wold find two simple words to substitute. I am about keeping the 'beat'. I do not want the reader slowing down to deconstruct a word.
