Or at least the third biggest. They plan to invest trillions in the third highest energy use industry, medicine and hospitals, and they both intend to build this new system with debt.
American medicine is 15% of the economy, and thus about 4% of the energy use in the world.
Sanders and AOC intend to pretty much double the CO2 output of the American medical system with Medicare for all. Thus they will likely increase the ice melt by a few points, at least.
Both of these nuts are liars, they know it. AOC never plans to refreeze that ice. In order to do that, they plan to write off the trillion dollars invested in Obamacare exchanges and reorganizaion. That ice will never be refrozen. This is true of both parties, by the way. Extremes on both sides are extreme ice melters.
