Moore's law is an increment in the commutator function

The 64 bit address field is a quadruple increment in sort functionality. The effect is to push the old hardware stack up to the first software layer, the stack shifts up and we get a 'flowering' of new applications as the top level is freed from stack constraints.

Higher clock speed, higher word width have similar effects, they maker the tree trunk rounder. Hence we get a better hologram effect, reflected in the grammar of new applications, like enterprise namespace routing.
