No, because Mueller, me, and the entire nation held exculpatory evidence early on. Trump could nerve have made any kind of deal in the middle of the chaos.
Mueller knew this, did no share it with the accused during pretrial. Trump knew this, and knew that Mueller knew this and knew, as most of us did, the hopeless case presented. It was hysterical dems stuck.
Then add in Trump ongoing hotel business which confused everyone a bit. But, there was no obstruction of justice in throwing out the investigation as a sham, they were not looking at hotels, per se, just the various places to piss in them. There was never any claim of crime in the true collusion, the collusion to build a hotel in Moscow. Trump thought his hotel plot a bit criminal, Mueller did not.
