Let us remove the steel rails from the San Jose Light Rails, and replace them with an asphalt bus rapid transit system. Then the co2 pollution is minimized, especially after we slowly, allow private light weight transport on the system. No human drivers, all on a convoy system following the white liner, driver on board for local routes. Extremely efficient robotic transportation, covering the last mile and regional distances smoothly, fluidly. The system becomes subject to the asynchronous efficiency of the ride hailing apps.
