Consider the workers of 1880, electrifying man and machine, productivity rising everywhere. What if these workers could go back to 1820 and utilize their knowledge? They can.
The generation of 1820 is still around, been overlapping with the kids, they have been doing the 'Whoops, should have know' and splitting the costs of quantiztion with their kids. It takes a generation to get pricing right. We all know that. Boomers over lapped fairly well compared to grand pops. But we all still settle accounts, we have a bit of generation 'shock', maybe not the midnight impulse response, but a Wiener process, a much better shock form.
