The elimination of three health care taxes will increase the deficit by $373 billion. That was the intent. These taxes and the penalty were going away, everyone knew that. The overall budgetary cost should be above 100 billion when one adds the cost of th e professional shortages the medicaid expansion costs.
For comparison, it we took, say 50 billion, of that extra expense and divide by 50, then we get a one billion dollar injection into the Vermont state capital. And that is the correct formula, delivery savings from intelligent senators to their state capitals. But it is a multi-step process with the idiots we have today in the Senate. Most of them are clueless about the problem, even though it is stated quite clearly in the Constitution.
Heck, most of our pundits still are clueless, talking about philosophy fixing a 250 year old problem.
